Hualien to TaiTung

Sianzzz, nothing much today, the day is mostly spent in the bus looking @ scenery along the way. After leaving the hotel, the guide brought us see a beautiful beach...quite chio...is facing the OCEAN one...next,went to Taroko Gorge(Tai Lu Ge Guo Jia Gong Yuan) to look see look see again...zzz...

After that, went for an aboriginal lunch consisting of many wild veges, wild fish, even wild boar..haha!! the veges is kinda gross bcos there is a sticky sap when you chew on it, the wild boar meat was okay lar, just that it smelt abit weird. They kept saying that the smell of bamboo shoots is damn gross, luckily, I got a stuffed nose ...HAHAHA!!! The tour guide even forgot to pay for the meal and the poor waitress chased her all around...muahahAHA!!! Beside the restaurant is a marble processing factory where huge boulders where sorta cut up and repackaged larh...Next is the Gem wholesale centre, mainly to con visitors' money only ...=X !!! Pls lor, this era where got people where jade stuff and dare it flaunt it ...=P !!!

After the CHOP CARROT HEAD (in hokkien lar) session, the guide brought us to this place call BA XIAN DONG to look at some caves where the aboriginals long long time ago used to stay. But now, the caves had been converted to a temple for the Goddess of Mercy...soooo totally out of point!!! We also met a very funnie lil girl...when asked whether she is an Yuan Zhut Min(aboriginals), she replied no...bcos she is (her name) ..!! muahah!!!

Lastly, went to San Xian Tai to look see look see again. Basically, it is just 3 islands linked by funnie bridge. The guide don't allow us to cross the bridge bcos she said that it MIGHT be dangerous as it was getting very windy and dark. So, we merely took some pics on the bridge...sianed!

Went to Formosa Hotel after having our yucky dinner(shall not elaborate). Wow, it was awesome lor, 5 stars, spacious room, and well equiped with entertainment and relaxation facilities such as spa, gym and performances...woohoo!!!

-Dance Performance-
Traditionally aboriginal dances by their ppl... the dancers were mainly students studying in the town and perform @ the hotel to earn some pocket money. HeHehe, I learned how to greet them the aboriginal way and even tried their dance...hohoho!!!

-Spa treat-
This is my first time going completely NAKED in a shared area!!! hehehe... at first, quite awkward lar,but soon, become accustomed to it as everyone is naked and body will bother to take a second look at you... quite shiok, a totally new experience.

Also got to know 3 super duper ultra friendly Taiwanese girls who were working in the hotel.They are Lao Shu, 18, Cat, 16, and Mo Yu Hei Bang, 15. And Cat, really sounded and looked like Ella sia!!! My sis and I also went to their hostel to take a look, quite cool, huge room with attached balcony just for the 3 of them. Also got to know some of their friends, Ah Jie, Jason and a dunnoe what name ...hehe!!! Time flies, soon, got to head back to the hotel le, quite reluctant actually, their hospitality made the trip more bearable...!!!

Taipei - Chiu Fen(九份 ) - Hwa Lien (花莲 )

Left the hotel around 8.30am and heads towards the National Palace (古宫 ) Museum...showing those stuff from the old old old old era de lArhz...It was soooo B.O.R.I.N.G!!! Took loads of pictures but failed to listen to what the guide was saying, hehehe...=P

was angry with my mum for quite a while bcos she insisted on bringing my heavy bag out...when I went up to the grab my bag, the bus suddenly started moving...I was damn frantic...!!! luckily, the driver noticed me and I quickly alighted from the bus...pheW!!! wHat a fright!

After the boring museum trip, we proceed to Chiu Fen to walk walk eat eat see see... tried the famous Gong Wan(meat balls lar), You Toufu, oyster omelette(yucks!), BBQ mushroom stems(haha...quite nice actually), BBQ shellfish and Yam stuff... yah...ate alot of stuff!!! WhoHz, my mum finally displayed her shopping power, bought 2 boxes of stuff just in 1 shop - Ah Shin Muah Shuen. Spended NT3350 which is about $120+ larhz...

Soon, we embarked on a 5 hrs ++ journey to Hwa Lien. Very nice scenery along the way, went up mountains, across lakes... FwAH!!! The first pit stop is at Yi Lan, every chionged to the toilet and then...MORE SHOPPING... hahaha!!! Bought a packet of Niu She Bing and a packet of YA SHANG, smoked duck meat. Towards the 2nd pit stop was super unbearable as my bladder is like bursting!!! Chionged to the toilet @ the 2nd stop only to the discover by the super long queue, luckily, 2 nice ladies allowed me to cut Q... hehz...Finally reached Hwa Lien around 8+ and went to a little restaurant for dinner, BBQ/steamboat Taiwanese style. Basically is just like Seoul Garden lar...nothing special. Successfully peng-ed a fish but ruin quite a few chix wings...bleHZ! checked in to Aston hotel for the night.

Singapore to Taipei

took an afternoon flight to Taipei today,1pm like tat. Board the plane only to find out that it is damn small!!! Normally, when i took SQ planes or British Airway planes, the plane is wide enough to accomodate 3 seats @ the right window, 3 seats @ the left window and 3 seats in between...but JetStar? 3 seats left and right onli!!! Almost died of boredom on that flight also, there is practically NTH to do except sleeping... no games to play, no movies to watch...waHHHh sianed!!! When the plane is descending to Taipei de CKS Airport, my eardrum almost burst sia... intense ear ache, no matter how much saliva i swallowed also no use... and the airport is sooo lok kok looking...terminal 1 marhz...alwayz like tat de... hahaha...and the tour guide,Ms Karen was late...hoho... cos we reached Taiwan about like 6pm le, so we straight away check into the hotel,Santos hotel, before going for dinner.

Had stone steamboat,石头火锅 ) for dinner. not too bad lar overrall, full of greens and very very healthy i supposed...all boiled de. 1 thingy bad is that you must eat very fast bcos those stuff cooked damn first and the waitress had to quickly serve and dump them on your plates...!!! got 2 know 2 couples who was sharing table with us, 1 is Ah Heng , the other is Ah Ang...haha... After dinner, went to see the Taipei 101 building, warhz biangz, really very high!!! but too bad, it wasn't officially open yet so couldn't go in to take a look, we also visited other shopping malls such as New York New York and others larh...brRrRRRR, it was cold that night, raining plus strong winds...

xmas eve today, utterly boring, no place to go, nowhere to go, nobody to go out with!!! packed my luggage for tomorrow flight, very pek chek now, dun feel like going le!!! I wish I can back out, I wish I did not opt for the PAE thingy, cos now, it just SUCKS!

ermz...yup...Pets Villa...!!!

Went to Pets Villa today again with Clara(from DS de)...today mostly is cattery part...had to feed them and sorta... and ...the smell made me very very pukish... buay tahan...so i settled to wash bowl instead...haha...got 1 really funnie cat who lurrvveesss to eat the food from the food basin instead of the plate...so we had to keep carrying him/her away from the basin!!! gRRr!!! saw some really small kittens too, cute and fluffy, weigh practically nothing, super ultra duper lightweight...heheHEE!!!! after the cats are done, nothing to do le so went to walk around to sayang doggies... and a really funnie accident thing happened today, a puppy, Choya, got her head stucked between the gate and the ground, the pple had to use all sort of method to get it out...and FINALLY, its out...haha...Cathy even gave the pup a good smack on the bum( i tink...) Den, we went to Pets Mover to buy some treats for the dogs, hehe...cute !!!oh yah, I also bought a nice doggy 2005 wall calender...interested pls TAG me........... MUST REALLY THANK THE LADY WHO GAVE US A RIDE BACK TO PASIR RIS MRT STATION too!!!
