搏斗精神
当你到了古稀之年时不幸地被医生诊断出自己患了末期癌症时，你会有什么反映呢？对我而言，如果真的有这样的一天，而我在人世间也没有多大的作用，我的脑海就会立刻浮现以死亡来结束一切的念头。我宁可死得痛痛快快，也不愿意承受打针，化疗，电疗或吃药这些种种的折磨。一直到去年(2004)，我才有了一个截然不同的想法。我的老师受到病魔的清晰，生死只在一瞬间。

老师患了子宫颈癌, 当发现时已经太迟了，癌症以到第四期，癌细胞也入侵到别的器官。动了无数次大大小小的手术, 切除了子宫，但癌细胞还是不肯放过她，继续地扩散到她的淋巴，重重减弱老师的抵抗力。起初，大家都对老师拿的长假不已为然，以为她只是到国外度假。直到一天，数学老师在帮我们温习时，忽然对我们说了这凡话，¨你们有空就去看看陈老师或替她祷告，因为她恐怕承不了多久。¨经过我们的一番追问后才得知她病情的严重性。

陈老师是我中一和二的班主任。她为人亲切，把学生当成自己的孩子看待。中一哪年，1E2班在运动会上赢得全校众冠军后，她高兴的请全班同学吃饼，隔天，还做了一大锅的黑糯米粥(Bubur Hitam) 来慰劳我们。她常说，¨我们不只要在学业上领先，应该要在各领域上能有优越的成绩¨。也许是怕辜负她的期望，大家无论在做任何事时，都尽量做得最好。在她的教导之下，大部份的同学都得到不俗的成绩，顺利地升上中三。

我第一次探望她时是在复活节那天,全1E2班的老同学都到齐了。看到她时，大家的脸上都不禁有了惊讶与伤感的表情。她的脸显得很疲累，疲累的神情使她显得更苍老。从前她那灰色的皇冠现在以像枯落的叶子，只留下寂寞的树枝。但这些都隐藏不了她见到我们所露出的喜悦。她仍然那么的坚强，乐观地于病魔搏斗。¨好人有好报¨，这句话说得一点也没错。在老师最需要帮助时，竟有一位和她萍水相逢的好友自愿地扛起照顾她的重任。老师单身一人，在新加坡举目无亲，这时，朋友的协助这时便显得格外显著。她不仅无怨地载送老师往返医院，还将老师的抗拒声挥开，硬是要老师般进她家, 照顾她的起居饮食。处此之外,她还给予老师亲人般的呵护与支持。

过了近半年后，老师的病情渐渐有了起色，回到学校来于同学见面。当天也是教师节。1E2的老同学於是特地为了她作了一场即兴演出来欢迎她。她也大方地和大家讲解她的¨战斗¨过程和经历。老师教会了我积极面对困难的道理，套一句偶像剧里所说过的话，¨不要轻言放弃，否则对不起自己¨。<--cant believe I wrote this sentense.

Gawdness, the dental appointment was tormenting lar! It was sooooooo blardy painful, my fist was clenched at the side ready to punch him anytime. LOL. Somehow, i think he used a thicker wire this time round and attempted to squeeze into my braces! Really damn freaking chicken macniaget-ly painful.


Still, went for TKD after the torture, lol, was like... 1.6hrs late! Din do much except to fool around there. HAHAHA, dinner with TKD peepz, and shared a Barcardi Breezer with QM! HAHAH, he dont dare to drink after knowing that alcohol is a freaking calories-loaded beverage... i passed it to another TKD guy. BLEH.


TKD today, well, err not really lar. Was there to open the door for em to use. Freaky, i got there, and then saw joeseph opening the door!!! Niaget QM~~!!! Din join them today, lol, the them were, QM and Joseph. LOL. poor ppl, hahaha, they had to shed some weight so it was absolut stamina trng for them. Kicks + Running + Combi Kicks + Running + Combi Kicks + Running + more kicks kicks kicks!!! Was there zhoring-boh and did some leisure kicks and run. HEEHH. Was supposed to accompany Bee with her KTV session lar, but then, din go cos... got loads of stuff to do and i dunnoe whose Michael Owen!


Sianz, sianz sianz. Darn sianing. Exams are coming. Gonna have Common Test 2 and practical tests on the National day week and about 1 -2 weeks later gonna be Sems Exams. Shucky. Studied nothing so far. Halleluyah. More staying late at night in school. But... its the Ghost month now leh!!! HOW!!!

Thursday ...woohoo, one of the best days of the week. Get to wake up really late, slow dilly dally before school, slackish IS, normally end 1.5hrs before actual time, slack before TKD... loving it!


HAHAHA, yesterday trng was havoc! LOL, the "DM", was not in town, and we had a super funny training! But it was still tiring! QM's 5x10x15 of that dunnoe what killed me!!! I HAAATTTEEE star jumps, and whatever scissors jumps. Okay, but i dont mind jumping jacks though.


Then, Wong-sir took us for the kicking session. SIAN LEH! I STILLLLLL cannot do a double turning kick, the whities are already using it in sparring! Shyte, lousy lousy lar!!! HOW HOW HOW! After kicking, was... SPARRING. Gawdness, sooooo super CMI, laughed my way throughout, would be *&^%$#%^ badly if "DM" was around. LOL, but we sorta, ended it in a serious manner. lol, bad bad bad example set. TSK TSK TSK! Sparred with C, shes the super drama type can, as in, her improvement, lasttime she couldnt even do a proper kick, now she can spar like a veteran! IDOL!!! And... she kicked my head! Blarghx. Next up was Rotational Sparring, i hate this even more than the normal 1 to 1 sparring. Seems that all of my injuries were accumulated from rotational. Cos, simply not serious enough when doing rotational, more like treating it as some game, in the end, BOTH insteps are hurt now. Wonder how to kick without my instep. This sucks totally.... =<


As usual, dinner at BTM, very farnie ppl we have in TKD. Played some super childhood games with Bee, hahha, lost most of em. CANNOT BLAME MARH, I HARDLY PLAY DE LOR, she prolly trained her scissors-paper-stone skill also. BLARGH. LOL. HAHHA, saw Adrian from AES, hahha, forever so cute... bai bai pang pang. BAHAHAHAHA. He was with Max, who REJECTED my invitation to dinner. HARHH!!! HARHHH!!!! Theres this irritating aunty, who NIAMED us cos of the bowl of spilled noodles, errr, how she expects them to clean up the soup also?! Weird. Bee spotted a RUHUA super lookalike too... Her hairstyle was really, replication of the real one. And the makeup, prolly from the same make up artist. Their resemblance arh!

Taekwondo training yesterday was XIONG! Though it wasnt as xiong as what we had in the past, but still, strong enough to leave a lasting LACTIC ACID OVERDOSE till now! Shyte. Meaning, I AM WEAK!!! SHYTE! Cant kick, cant run, cant sparr yesterday! And the worst thing is, while running, my legs turned wobbly and i fell!!! Buahed 2m on the track. Cool, the durability of Dobok, saved me from a what would be gruesome over exfoliation. blargh. BTM-ed as usual. So farnie... farnie farnie farnie.

Sorta celebrated PAPA's birthday on Sunday, went to the err, some zhi-char restaurant at Bukit Panjang, they call it Dua Dor, which is Big Belly in hokkien. 4 of us had... Pepper Crabs, Porky trotters, vege, tofu and oyster omelette. DAMN FULL CAN. So inclusive of that meal... I had a grand total of ... 3 damn RICH(read: FATTENING) meal and 4 birthday cakes. I think i've gained 300kgs, in one week. DIE!

Tiff's Bday @ Uber Burger!!!

Had this turkey burger thingy, mainly cos its low carb... lol, and i like turkey better than chicken, the rest had wad sirloin burger, MED RARE. soooooooo bloody can!!! Had another 2 "handful" of fries, which was literally, 2 buckets! Those bucket sized for beer... u noe, the ice buckets. LOL. Soo blardy full.

Time to re-train bishi bashi! Cam-whored outside MS, and bought my first bottle of alcohol, damn lar, that guy din even check my i/c. Luckily he din, forgot that my i/c pic CMI. PHEW! Drank a whole array of Barcardi. Hahah, but its not the very potent type, its more like... soda?? bleh. Laozy. As usual, face turns super red, but that doesnt mean i am drunk. It only mean that i have a good blood circulation. so... I AM NOT DRUNK!!!

Hehez, first celebration is at SCHOOL!!! Went down to accompany Tiff to get her barley, den when i came up, saw that cake cover, so... knew wad was going on already. HEHEHEHE. Then, yup, Sang songs, took pics, and... CAKE FIGHT! So practically, the cake was smeared onto everyone's face instead of being eaten... whoops.


Got home, washed up, and rush off for another celebration, this time, with the AES peepoz at Billy Bombers!


Woohoo, so super fun. Listening to KT, Audrey and Marc crappings can make me laugh sooo much... and their ahermz, pattern more than badminton camera poses. LOL. So a grand total of 9 where there! Marc, KT, Aud, CY, CY, Sharilyn, JY and shawnrick. Thanks guys! Okay, but billy bombers food just... err, not to my taste, tried the Roast Chix thingy, had so much problem dissecting it. LOL. Its literally half a chicken, pls, slice for me next time!!! Den, suddenly Marc went to the "toilet"... Hahaha, so touched can... CY and Sharilyn got a cheesecake from NYDC for me!!! So gan dong. LOL, but we din really get to savour the cake, cos we had 10mins to finish it up and rush off for the movie.


For the first time in my life, i ran down Heeren, chionged across the road, ran into Cine and irritated by the cine lift. We (marc, Chinyan, me) were meeting my TKD seniors(bees, Joseph, XS) for Pirates of The Carribean, the sneak preview. Was quite late though, about 15mins. Missed a whole lot of the beginning. But nevertheless. A GREAT SHOW!!! I love love love Captain Jack Sparrow. Hes so eccentric and cool. HAHAHA, quite faggotish though. LOL. Argh crap, we missed the ending trailers for part 3 !!!


Had another surprise bday cake from TKD, celebrating the July babies including Qing Ming, Tat Cheng and ME!!! YAY!!! So nice of them!!!

Flaming Arrows!

YAY!!! My saturdays are back to normal, no more waking up at 6am to catch the 6.30am bus to Clementi for the 7am train ride to Bedok and 7.50am bus ride to THE RANGE. YAY!!!!! Instead, wakey time is a leisurely 8.30am where leisure stroll to the bus stop to get to the NEW Range, CHIJ Bukit Timah, a mere 3 bus stops away. HAHAHAAAA.


Oh, everything is nice about the new place, the drinks are cheap, coaches are nice!!! DAMN NICE!!! And sooo much more proffessional than the UNSPEAKABLE. Today i found out whats the 1716 thingy on my arrows is about and how it affects my shooting and a whole lot of technical stuff. Its sooo relaxing to shoot there, hahahaha, probably because today is a trial shoot out lar, but, its still fun. HAHAHA.


That coach that, Jaffar? is sooooo cool!!! he took out BL arrows and started flexing it around, talking about some chim technical term like arrow stiffness... and said, "your drawlength is thing, ur poundage is this, so u should be using a 1616 arrow. " WARHHH!!!! i was stupefied. lol. Mr Cool Guy. Then theres Santa Claus (i calls him that bcos he sooooo looks like one), saw one girl who kept hitting her arm, offered some advice and get her to apply medication... WAH! So nice right. So fatherly!!!! Unspeakable would prolly scold her for not turning her elbow......-__-!!! Wait a min, he wouldnt prolly be seeing us shoot in the first place...

Mousey died today! Lecturer and TSO having alot of difficulties bleeding the mousies, so the decision was made to anaethesize them. But 1 poor thing took it badly, and never wake up. Poor thing, if all the mousies could have cooperate nicely, they dont have to lose a comrade. Very very bad today, 2 were bleed till they bled from the ear, cos they moved when pricked, cause a bigger puncture in the vein. Scary lor, seeing the blood splurting out from the earhole, WAHHH.


Thennn, after my lecture at 5pm... head to Plaza Sing, hehe, luckily, got Gek Theng and Trixy to accompany me there. ... Happily trotted up Best Denki, den saw the customer service woman, totally sian diao, but ferget it, since i am collecting my camera already. BUT, after waiting for 1omins, collecting my IC, asking all the Sunday stuff again, she said its not THERE. FREAK HER CAN! I CALLED ON SUNDAY AND SHE SAID I CAN COLLECT IT ANYTIME! *at this moment, i really feel using all the F words, but... control* Gave her a pissed look and.. .walked away. DAMN STEWPID. Should have demanded an explanation. FREAK! Making me make wasted trips!!!!!!! CHEEKEN!!!

I AM SO BLARDY PISSED!!!

Dissect fish, dissect ME!

Fish dissection today!!! Each is given 1 SEA BASS to dissect and err, do what that is supposed to be done. Nevil's one was damn cruel, his fish were only anaethesized and not DEAD. Then in the midst of the heart puncture(to draw blood) the fish twitched and moved!!! EEEE!!! Then, when he started snipping em, more twitching, worst thing still, the HEART was still pumping!!! URGH!


We did our dissection on dead frozen fish, phew, no twitching, no pumping hearts. But extremely slimy!!! EWWW!!! snip snip snip, until all the organs were exposed, liver, kidney, stomach, etc. Nara damn pro, he cut the fish without wearing gloves, think his hands are going to stink for the next 3years, fish blood is extremely SMELLY!!! Hahaha, then Nevil went through the organs identification with me, *kiap the liver, "zis iz zhe liver", flipped it over to the other side* he did this for all the other organs. HAHA, then had BBQ sea bass, sea bass sashimi . HEHEHE.


Went for Archery meeting. Apparently, somethings happened between Mr Lim and the juniors... wootz. Sooo complicated.


TKD!!! Pattern, sigh!!! No form for pattern today. Dont have the FEEL. Couldnt do it properly. eeekkz. Sparring session, sparred with Jocelyn n G. Huhh, first session with Jocelyn was fun! But not with G!!! Kept clashing. URGHX!!! Dinner at Mac, getting fat, super fat, really fat. SIGH!!!

Faintx! I need some pills to lower my bp. It raised significantly after talking to the blardy Customer Service Officer at PS.


Story goes, almost 1 month ago, i sent my beloved camera for repair THERE as the mode dial was loose. First bad impression, I waited at the Customer Service Centre for some blardy time and NOBODY attended to me! Then, a someone finally NOTICED me and get the blardy trainee for me. The trainee, obviously a foreigner, could HARDLY understand english. i think i had to repeat everything i said, more than 2 times cause she will go... "HARRRHHHH??? HARRRRH??? YARRRHHH???". Blardy irritating. Then finally, after all the HARRHHHING, she finally understood what was i trying to say and got the necessary thingys done.


Then, about 1 week later, i was told that my camera was ready for collection. But 1 day after the call, another guy called and said it wasnt ready. !!! FREAK rite?! So, waited and waited until today, couldnt stand the wait anymore, and called Best Denki. DAMN, it was the blardy trainee AGAIN. Expected, HARHHING, and YARHHING. And freak, she expected me to know the report no. when i wasnt given any. Was already super pissed, and my voice got louder and louder... Kinda of scolded her. Try getting someone to repeat everything again when shes already freaking pissed. HUMPF.


Phew, matter solved. I can collect my camera ANYTIME. And how come i wasnt informed of this?! Beetch.


Okay, so coincidental, met YewTeck at BTM after dinner. HAHA, shocking news he said! woohoo, sooo its like WAR time!
