going downhill...

I JUST HATE GOING DOWNHILL!!! Walked down the overhead bridge from Kismis today and I slipped and slide down several stepsSss!!! OMG! Worst thing is, theres 2 cool ang-moh guy nearby! As usual, when i am in pain, i wont hesistant to YELP out... EMBARASSING SIA! OMG! This time, my left butt and left arm is slightly bruised. Got a lump thingy at my elbow region + huge blue-black on my butt! Also, my slowly healing left knee injury was aggravated and it hurts badly again! DANG! So sway de! My third fall in Ngee Ann already... first time was walking downhill from business block, second was walking downhill from the sheltered business block route and thirdly, today one lor! Plus countless times where i slipped and ALMOST fell in Bali walking down the arduous slopes. I am soooooooooo not going to wear my Nike sneakers on rainy days! They are one of the main causes for my PLIGHT! Looking at my getting-into-accident/incident rate... 1 bad fall per week, I would most prolly be paralysed by the end of year 2... hur hur hur!

Shall blog despite this busy night cos i am HAPPY!!! LOL! Okay, for the first time in my............. years of running 2.4km, this is the FIRST time that i am able to complete the WHOLE blardy distance WITHOUT stopping or walking!!! OMG! *claps claps* All thanks to TKD seniors, Wei Shi and Wei Juan, (btw they r not sisters...) for spurring me on like no tml... THANK YOU! *bow down*, ermz, even though I was slower than the rest by... almost 1 round, muAHAHA! OH WELL! At least, I've completed this blardy run. After the run, we had pattern trainings, yah, slacking time basically for the yellow tippers...heh! Followed by sparring and mock grading, was abit too fast at first but got my tempo afterward, even ended together at the same time with my partner! *smiles*. Finally, we thought that training is ending soon, but no! Crazy instructor(gladwin... smt like tat... sounds like this) initially wanted us to play DOG-&-BONE. Sooo dortsie! AHaHaha!!! But luckily, he changed plan and we were made to do 100 kicks instead. *phew* Yah, kicks wasnt done very well due to my chark-chark knee, but, heck lar!

Tribute to Ms Tan

My form teacher of sec 1 and 2, Ms Tan Choh Hoon, had passed away peacefully on the 23th Nov 2005, after battling with cancer for more than a year.

Thinking back...
She was the one who encouraged me to work hard when i failed my maths and was posted to a subscience class.
she gave us thoughtful,self-made gifts on special occassions.
She cried when my classmates(not me) were caught cheating during a test.
She promoted class unity by encouraging us to go for all sorts of inter-class competitions... Banner making, noticeboard designs, sports, academic...
She used to make her specialities such as muah chee and bubur hitam for us.
...theres much more to what she had done for us ... on the otherhand, we had only visited her ONCE when she was recuperating at her friend's place. Sigh...


WTH is wrong with me today. Woke up at 7.20am when i slept at around 11pm the night before, which means i had like 7hrs of sleep? Came back, slept from 3pm to 7pm again. Not used to spending thursday evenings at home, did not go for TKD obviously... how to execute a blardy kick without my knee. And now, i had been surfing aimlessly for almost 4 hours... Think i am going back to SLEEP again, recharge myself and chiong studies tml.

Kneeless!

Freaky shit, slipped and landed on my knees!!! Now my left knee is pretty immobile, and my right knee was kicked like a handmit during contact sparring yesterday!!! URGH! SWWAYY!!! Probably cant go for trng on thurs, when i told WeiJuan(TKD senior) specifically that i would be going on thurs to pay her the grading fees...-___-!!! LOL, gonna use the traditional method of slotting letters beneath the door, provided if i can even BEND my bloody knees in the first place!

Regarding TKD yesterday, we had 2.4km AGAIN... But, i din walk so much liao! YaY! But, i think I didnt really ran 6 rounds leh? I counted 5, then one of the TKD seniors came to fetch me from those speeding Track ppl... LOL, looks as if we were really crossing a busy road! *look left, right then left again before crossing!* muAHAHAH!!! Anyway, we had a sparring session + mock grading session! Its soo blardy intimidating when u are infront of everyone ALONE doing your pattern while some ... *&^%$# is STARING at you with the most ultimate chao-bin face! Dang! And its again soooooo irritating when you are sparring with someone and had to take of your specs(800+ degree, mind u) and the same *&^%$# had to nag and nag and nag behind your back.

Yikez, had to forgo the class HP movie outing due to TLS commitments... oh well, works more impt. Anyway, we din do much during that period too... spent more time fooling around and shifting from rooms to rooms... BLARGHX

TKD... was cruel! 6rounds round the track!!! I started walking from the 4th round... blarghx. Think my TKD president also quite pek chek cos she had to drag me along... and I'll like ... jog abit, stop, kenna dragged, jog abit...*the cycle continues...* SORRY!!! After the 2.4km jog-walk, i thought that the WORST was finally over, but NO! Theres kickings to do done also... though it wasnt alot, but its like... 5x5x5x5x5x5x5..., kick until my head started to spin... puk-ish liaox!!! No energy to even hold the handmitts properly... urgH!!! WEAKLING!!! After the kicks, the trng went on smoothly practising patterns and the 2 kicks. This time, i am not alone!! YAY!!!

YAY!!! Watched Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire with kelyn + Friends and CYss. Superb movie!!! Snape rawks as usual and for the first time, he actually had a funny scene... so cute to see Snapey's funny antics! Victor Krum was damn cool, esp so during the Yule Ball!!! Ron's dress robe was really CMI... LOL... Lacy and Frilly to the MAX! Weasley twins are sooooooo farnie!!! Hagrid and his GF, is soooooooooooooooo ....-__-!!! EWWW-ish lor!!! Like he is dating a trans like tat... URGHH!! *GOOSEBUMPS* OMG LAR!!! got freaked out by some scenes too... lol! Pretty shocking!!!

A day of laughter!

Celebrated Patrick's birthday at KAP today, bought a cake from Bengawan Solo... and then, we realised, there isnt any lighter for the candles... DORTX! And Shiong Hung was fooling around acting as if the candles were lit-ed. His funny antics... -_-!!! we SANG the birthday song out LOUD in front of all those top schools around Bukit Timah!!! MUAHAHA!!!


It was soon time for tutorial and we quickly headed to the bus stop as we were running late... kept digging my huge bag for my wallet, *GASP!* its missing! Dig and dig and dig but still couldn't find it!!! And that linus freaked me out by saying I left my wallet on the tray and the tray was dumped into the bin and the bin was cleared by the mac stuff!!! OMG! Thaaats soooo HK! So Tiff and Hung accompanied me back to search for my wallet... *TOUCHED!* Spotted that mac staff but he was busying carrying trays of food and we waited for him to finish. So, decided to dig more DEEPLY into my bag... felt something PVC-ish. OMG! lol!!! It was my wallet!!! Lucky we din get the stuff to dig the rubbish chute for us, yet. PHEW! So after some good laughs, walked out of KAP. Then we noticed something, the Ronald dummy outside was no longer sitting on the chair... but who cares bout ronald lar. Heckcare-ed and proceed on, suddenly, we saw................................... RONALD MACDONALD!!! He wetted his pants and went to change ... LOL!

my jumping jacks formula!

Problem sum.

Singyan couldnt sleep and she decided to do some jumping jacks to tire herself so as to have a better sleep. For the first set, she did 30 x 8 counts of jacks. Though it was very exhausting, she has the urge to lose those thunder thighs and add an increment of 5 x 8 after each sets. After the fifth set, she felt that she's too tired to continue. How many jumping jacks had she done in total?

solution 1. (the dumb way)...
( (30 x 8) + (35 x 8) + (40 x 8) + (45 x 8) + (50 x 8) ) / 8 = 200 jacks

Shopping!

Yay, went shopping with CY at bugis this afternoon. My best buying record ever! Bought a bag barely 15mins of shopping! First time ever! Was quite sian of walking in that bugis village pasa malam thingy so chop chop buy and chop chop go. Dont like crowds very much and it was kind of stuffy over there.


After buying my bag, went to walk around of Bugis Junction and saw many thingys that i want to get... but I RESISTED the temptation! My savings had been dwindling at a very fast pace!!! *Beepo, beepo!!!* Red alert!!! NO more slashing of my NETS!!! Its time to slash my mum's!!! Shall trick her into going Bugis Junction one of these days!!! MUAHAHA!


CY bought a PMK Tee, hah, and thanks to me, she has got a $2+ discount... LOL! $2 can buy laksa at Megabites okay!!! I also wanna get somemore teeS! But not from PMK le lar... so sick of the "milk makes u drunk" sentense.


Talking about yesterday's trng, i couldnt stretch very well!!! Felt so chark-chark. INFLEXIBLE!!! Couldnt touch my toes or whatever! TSK! Legs are still kind of sore after that fateful Mon's trng!!! URGH!!! Anyway, the trng concentrates more on kicks and blocks! First time doing many of the thingys that taught during the holidays! Felt so dumb. Those fanciful blocks and kicks are just soooo cheem!!! Sickening!!! And most of the time, I was g-enging. The kicks are much more worse! What 360 degree turning kick, den what kick + some other kick + jump and back thrust! OMG! AURGH! I need to brush up of my TKD skills!!! One semester has passed and I am still as noob as ever!!! Damnit! Worst still, I am the only Yellow-Tiper now!!! NOOO!!!!

TKD again!

Yay!!! Back to my TKD training days!!! First training after the holis almost killed me!!! After slacking for sooo many weeks, I cant kick, I cant stretch and cant move my legs for more than 800m!!! After all that intensive kickings + sparring, we went for a 2.4km jog somemore!!! OMG, i walked... abit! LOL! 2 nice, bloodied toes in the end! yaY!!! TKD still rawks!!! MuAHAHAHA!!! What was all that dilemma(sp? no energy to check laR!) for!?

Thanks Christina for accompanying me to Taka's Best Denki to repair my digi cam... and also for the eventful and exciting trip... bleeH!!!

Saturday Shopping Spree!!! WeEeEW!

Supposed to meet chinyan and jingyuan around 11am today, but being me, i couldnt get off my bed so i sent them a msg to meet around 1pm instead. In the end, i reached marina sq at 2pm. HAHAHA!!! Took 961, which was soooooooooo dumb btw, and had to take another cab ... transportation fee -> 3.50 + 0.45 +0.45 = $4.40!!! Wau liew, there goes one LJS Combo 1!!! Got a tee too.. lol $11. muahAHA!!! Hei Pi!!!

Went to buy my specs at that YES! smt smt smt shop, took hell long. Theres soooooooooooo many frames to choose from! Biohazard la, butterfly la and tribal were the few shortlisted ones. Decided on the biohazard after a loooooooooooooong time. After that, it was EYE CHECKING time... Kaox, my eye checker? was kind of pissed off by me... loL! Then he started to raise his voice, louder and bu shuang-er. The final cost is $188... *BLEEDS* only some dunnoe what unknown plastic frame lorRRR!

While waiting for my specs, i've bought a pair of jeans (lawman's), sweater/jacket (reebok)... spent nearly $100 during that 1hr waiting time... !!! OMG!

After dinner(BK's), we took a train down to orchard and jalan-ed around. Dont dare to look or try stuff liao! SHUNS TEMPTATION! Chinyan, on the other hand, bought a Puma Sweater! Nice whoh! BUT, its much pricier!!! Head home around 9-ish.

Dad seems calm about my specs... had lotsa of concerns for it though... good or not, heavy or not, blablabla... MY FIRST TIME BUYING MY OWN SPECS, BTW. Went to surprise my mum too. Seems cool about it too... smile smile... And started on with her naggings... -_-!!! Showed her my jeans and sweater... even more naggings... "spend soo much monies, etc" But overall, its good cause she DIN critisize them... she lurrrvvveeess to do that to whatever I buy one lorRR!

Its a hei pi day! Yay!!!

I finally WORE A BLARDY SKIRT TO SCHOOL TODAY AND IT HAD TO RAIN SO BLARDY HEAVILY. Kaox!!!

Anyway, my IS modules for this sem totally rawks! To hell with CATS lar, so boring! IAC is something like PW that I had to do in JC, touches on issues about society and community. Then, have to present the whatever findings and shocking stuff in the end. My lecturer, Michael, is this old but still cool ang-moh... whoops, i meant CAUCASIAN guy. Damn funny too and his Chinese sounds more BIAO ZHUN than mine. WTH?! " Wo hui jiang hua yu..."*in a super chinese mix british accent* Cool huh! Too bad, IAC is on every alternate weeks. SOBS!

Then, there is COMMS aka the speak good english module. Hiak! Another oldie lecturer, Vivian Tsang. Seems that all IS oldies lecturers are kind of hip... sia.

Then, i noticed this familar face outside the class who is having problem opening the SLIDING door... Finally, she managed to enter, gave an apologetic "Sorry, I am late", stared around, and gave a long harrrd, horrified stare at me. "Sorry, wrong class!!!" and chiong-ed out. ITS YUSHAN LAR! OMG!!! TOOT!

disastrous hair cut... AGAIN!

urgHhHHhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Predict to have bad hair daySsSSsSSSSSSssSsSssS for another 3mths or so liao lar! went to cut my hair at this hair saloon somewhere in Jurong East ...ahemz, st 13 area, cos some forum peeps recommanded that place marh, and since cy went for her... $5 haircut offer... LOL, at her aunt's place and isnt going to Chapt 2 anymore, i went to try out that JE one lorr... Actually isnt sooo bad lar, just that i have only several micrometres worth of fringe left... and some spiky hair on top-est most part of my head tat sticks out oddly, my head looks at least one size bigger, thats all.
